What are you playing?
Thu Jun 25, 2009 8:55 am Posted By Chris
I just got Threads Of Fate, and SaGa Frontier, both for the PlayStation (PSX) today. Very happy, both are games I have wanted for a long, long time, and are nearly impossible to fine this side of the world (AUS/NZ.) Anyone played either of these two gems before? I'm starting with Threads Of Fate, since it's the shorter of the two.
I have also been playing Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, and since compleateing it, am now working my way through the ShinRa Tower in Final Fantasy 7. Good times.
On the RPG front nothing major is happening out there in gaming land. Although Square has pretty mch said that it wont be porting The Last Remnant to the PS3, which sucks for those of us without high-end computers, or Xbox360's. Just another reason to go out an get a 360, I suppose.
So what are you all playing at the moment? Post in our forums, I'd be interested to know.

The PSP re-release of Atlus' demonic PlayStation RPG Persona will arrive in North American stores on September 22, the company announced today. In conjunction with the date, Atlus provided the first screenshots of the new English localization.
Said to be "remastered" over the 1996 PlayStation original, which featured a group of high schoolers battling demons in an alternate world, the PSP edition of the turn-based cult classic packs new animated cutscenes, new content, and "design improvements."
Site Updates pt. 7

I finally got the blog working.
What this means is pretty soon we'll no longer be relying on e forum hack for our news system. If you want to see what the new site will look like (hint, it currently looks alot like the old one) you can click here.
I've had to manually copy & paste all the old news in, since b2Evolution won't let me import phpBB posts as an archive. I've covered feb 08 - nov 08, and should get the rest done by the end of next week.
After that it will just remain in Taz sending me the new header image, or I'll make my own (current one is nice, but it's been up for a while, and the font looks horrible.)
Once The posts have been ported across, I'm going to make a start on our games database. Bassman has delivered a very nice product, and it's ease of use means it'll take about two weeks to fill up. Starting with PS1 era RPG's, moving forward, then backwards.
I'll link to a demo of the database once I get home from work, but for now take a look at the blog
